CJ de Mooi: Hate
6 years ago 20 year old Sophie Lancaster was brutally murdered because she was a goth.
Please read that again.
For no other reason than she was a goth. She was walking with her boyfriend when they were both attacked with provocation by a group who didn’t like the way they were dressed.
I’ve…

The Start.
Yesterday marked the official start of the process of recording our new EP, working title of “EP 2”.
Leigh came over to my house, we ate delicious lamb curry along with Mrs Rev.
We then played through the songs, and laid down some demo guitars in preparation for drum tracking, which will be on Thursday & Friday this week over at Leigh’s.
We’re super excited to get these tracks down - we hope you love em.
CheersChris x

NEWS TIME :)
Had a freakin’ boss practice tonight going through the new songs for a release later in the year. Sounding rather ridiculous and we are loving it. Expect to hear them at gigs in the meantime!
The first Camblast Promotions newsletter has just gone out…it’s lovely and you can view it here http://eepurl.com/xKx4b
ALSO In an excellent twist of fate, May The 4th Be With You is now an ALL AGES SHOW.

Dear Derek.
Had a sweet ol’ time writing and rehearsing yesterday - our new song is about Derek Acorah and features Chris doing a Bruce Dickenson impression.
Peace

iloveundergroundbands 4/5 review ‘Meat Parade’
Here is a really nice review of our EP Meat Parade.
It’s written by Emil Svensson, he writes an awesome blog;
http://www.iloveundergroundbands.blogg.se
http://iloveundergroundbands.blogg.se/2013/january/the-projectionist-meat-parade.html
“Take a aggressive and raw hardcore sound, mix it with strong punk influences and add furiousgrind and you have The projectionist in a nutshell. Hailing from Cambridge UK, these guys released their EP Meat Parade in October last year.
There are no shortage of energy on this release. Grind-passages is mixed with evil and crazy riffsin a relentlessly fast way. But this fast and furious bulldozer-punk is not the whole sound of The projectionist. Now and then, you find slamming down-tempo parts in their songs which create a nice dynamic. Overall, this a great release that will overwhelm you with its harshness and heaviness
If you are into grind, hardcore and punk, Meat Parade will fit you perfect!
Rating: 4/5”Thanks Emil :)

Crash of Rhinos playing Distal on its entirety. Simply flawless.
2 guitars, 2 bass players, 5 voices. A great band from here in the UK. Check out this full set.
